Notion Troubleshooting

Common Notion integration issues and solutions.
Connection Issues
"Page Access Denied"

• The page wasn't shared with the integration
• Go to Notion > Settings > Connections
• Add the page to shared pages

"Connection Expired"

• Notion connections don't expire normally
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting

"Integration Not Found"

• The integration may have been removed from Notion
• Reconnect from Settings > Integrations

Page Access Issues
Pages Not Appearing

• Pages must be explicitly shared
• Check Notion connection settings
• Parent page access includes children

Empty Page List

• No pages have been shared
• Go to Notion to grant page access

Import Issues
Import Fails

• Page may contain unsupported blocks
• Try importing smaller pages
• Check for Notion API outages

Missing Content

• Some block types aren't supported:

- Embedded files
- Synced blocks from other pages
- Advanced media types
Formatting Lost

• Basic formatting is preserved
• Complex layouts simplified
• Tables converted to text

Database Issues
Database Not Showing

• Databases need to be shared like pages
• Check database is not private

Entries Not Importing

• Only text content is extracted
• Files and relations skipped

Reconnecting

1. Disconnect in Settings > Integrations
2. Go to Notion Settings > Connections
3. Remove AI Chat For Business
4. Reconnect from the app
5. Re-share desired pages
